TO SIZE IMAGE FOR DIGITAL COMPETITIONS
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW
USING PHOTOSHOP AND ELEMENTS SOFTWARE
LANDSCAPE IMAGE
In Photoshop and elements software go to menu bar, image, image size , then in dialog box Don’t change resolution , leave as it comes out of the camera , just change the width to 1400 pixels, no need to change height.
Next step Go to edit – convert to profile and in the drop down menu , select SRGB PROFILE.
PORTRAIT IMAGE
In Photoshop and elements software go to image, image size , then in dialog box Don’t change resolution , leave as it comes out of the camera , just change the Height to 1050 pixels, no need to change the width.
Next step Go to edit – convert to profile and in the drop down menu , select SRGB PROFILE.
Save image as JPEG
Then save to folder please check images are corr4ect size before you hand to competition secretary.
These instructions are for Photoshop - Elements and any other editing software,
Light room and Aperture and on 1 software have their own method in export mode.
IF ANYONE HAS ANY PROBLEMS ,PLEASE ASK AS IMAGES WILL NOT BE CHANGED
Preparing images for TPG competiton software
First resize images to 1400 pixels (Landscape) or 1050 pixels (Portrait)—srgb colour space and saved as a jpeg in separate folder. ( Please see sizing instruction page)
Next go to your folder where images are --- right click image , go to properties at bottom and click.
This will bring the properties box up, click detail as in the screen shot.
Put image title in , and authors name then resave image , any problems please ask.
